Making a Difference

The mission of HHSVA is to enhance patient care. This is acheived by generating profits at our shops & services. Annually the Board of Directors reviews applications submitted by various hospital departments and determines where the funds will be allocated. These profits are in turn, donated to HHS through the purchase of needed equipment and funding for various patient care programs.

Equipment donations and program funding is administered through our Patient Services Funding Program and Capital Equipment Donations are determined annually in conjunction with HHS administration. In addition HHSVA also provides program support and recognition for HHS Volunteers including uniforms, awards, bursaries and social events.
